deannawolSo, how do you not start a conversation with your mum where the end result is that she thinks you're nuts?
I had a couple of rememberable dreams last night and only one of them was good. And of course, will probably end up geting fictionalized as soon as I can figure out how to nail down a muse long enough that she doesn't dump 7000 words and fly off again. The second has unfortunately left a rather horrible image in my mind that I'm trying very hard to ignore. It's sufficient to say that my mum is getting nowhere near a moped/scooter while I'm still on the planet. When I told her this, she first thought I was nuts and then started making jokes about it. But needless to say, she's not planning any excursions by moped anytime soon.
In other news, I think I broke a toe. Not one of the important ones, just a minor one and it hurts like a b*tch! Will strap it later and figure out where the break is.
And quite apart from anything else, the premiere for "The Dresden Files" was on US tv last night, so I grabbed a torrent file of it at about 5.30 this morning (after the nightmare). Took about 35 minutes to download - hitting a speed of 100+kb/s which is never before seen on our network. Watched the first half of it this morning while trying to calm down and it seems good. Weird but good. Well, considering the genre it's in, weird is a given but it's definately watchable.
p.s. I don't consider it stealing if the show isn't being shown over here or even being planned to be aired over here.
