Stuff and Nonsence
Feb. 26th, 2004 02:59 pmUpdated the site again and fixed the problems on it. I hate picky browsers. You have to have the casing of the letters just perfect. The / has to be a '/' and it won't accept a '\'. Thats all very well, but I can never remember to put them the right way around. But I went trawling thru the mikado boards to find the new tech stuff and put that up as well. A few more things and I will be happy... Unfortunately, they are on my laptop, and its in Cavan. I am nowhere near Cavan at the moment so I guess its going to have to wait.
House hunting sucks! Self contained appartment they say! Bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and shower room... sounds good yeah? There wasn't a sitting room. There were two single beds in an okay sized room but no where to put a chair. So if you wanted to sit, pull up a bed. Is it just me that has a problem with inviting people in if by inviting them in, you are inviting them into your bedroom? I want a slightly bigger room than that. You couldn't put a tv in there comfortably and I like sitting down and watching some tv to unwind after work. Some mindless fun, a cup of tea ... then later a book and bed. The next place is on Friday, double room (but moving into a single room first), owner shared house ... Its in Silken Vale, nice area, close to everything! Utilities are an extra €20 a month. Sounds good but havent seen it yet. The third place is on Monday. This guy would be charging no utilities at all, not even oil, has cable tv, double room, new bed, newly laid flooring, painted walls ... too good to be true? I don't know. I hate house hunting!
