Jul. 12th, 2004 08:15 amOkay I will apologize for the mass generalisation but when you spend half the night comforting someone that you live with cause the guy in their life and paying a quarter of the rent of the house you live in decides that he is not in love with his girlfriend anymore and decides to call it quits after two years all that seems appropriate to say is .. Men!
I don't understand how for two years everything is okay and then suddenly it's not. I never understand that but that could be cause the finer emotional crap passes me by on a daily basis. Give me any situation and I will be able to tell you how the people will be able to react and what the psychological reasons behind it are ... but actually make me deal with the emotions and I break!
Cindy is from Germany and now her life has fallen apart in her eyes. She was due to start a new job today in Dublin but now she is planning on moving back to Germany and starting new. It is a very strange thing to watch a girl cry helplessly on your shoulder one minute claiming that the world is ending and to hear her ask you about freight forwarders the next. Everything is tied to her boyfriend, she met him after a week in the country and fell in love. But after two years she has to face the reality of the situation...
Kinda makes me feel glad that I don't have anything more than a few good friends although ... getting laid more would be nice *g*
ACK and it appears that tonight I will be helping her to pack and listen to her try to make sense of the world ... *squeezes out soggy shoulder* ... *sigh* Hopefully Janet will be home.
Yes I know that I can't simply confine the shittiness to men, women do it too.
