Suppose I should update ...
Jul. 11th, 2005 12:00 pmWell, a weekend resulting in lack of sleep for me.
Barbque on Friday night, where I seem to have gotten the job of cooking. Right, anyone who knows me and has been treated to breakfast with me making a fry knows that I generally tend to cook things until they are very dead and have no ideas about not being dead at any time in the future. And so it was with the barbque, many hours cooking over hot coals and making sure everything was as dead as possible.
Have to say that it was fun with kids looking on and being taught, by example, every bad word that they will ever need to know, broken fences, too much information shared... All in all a good night. Until the end anyway. Got a lift home with friends to spare myself from the 30 minute walk. ;) And then got groped in the car by the other person getting a lift. Oh well!
So sleep late on Saturday and see the house that I am going to be moving into shortly. One of my flat mates is moving house cause he just bought a new house and we are all moving with him. It's a nice house, slightly smaller than the one we are in now but still a good size house. Tianji is the one who will lose out mostly as his room can't really suffer to lose a lot of space. D. is currently painting his new purchase and is quite chuffed with the whole thing.
Went into town on Saturday night to meet a friend and well, drinking ensued but I have to say that I feel guilty cause he kept buying me drinks. But may I just say... Ultimate Cocktails in TGI Fridays are to die for! ;) Hmm, I thought that there was a 2.30 nightlink home but I was wrong which resulted in food in Abakebabra. :) Finally hit the sheets around 4.30 and couldn't get to sleep until about 6.
And boy wasn't yesterday warm... Just sat back and listened to MP3's... Foun 16 BonJovi songs on my laptop that I never knew were there and that I hadn't heard before.
My Cyberpunk scenario for Confess is over so I am well chuffed about that. This leaves me with writing the WoD scenarios for Gaelcon and Dominicon, respectively. Well, at least I'm putting in effort unlike some people who are just recycling their last Dominicon scenario and throwing it into Gaelcon with "Well, only 6 people have played it - never mind the 10 odd extras who have read it to make sure that my head size stays big enough to keep me out of small sized rooms". Whooops, too much bitterness there?
Anyway... that's me for now I think...
Have fun!
