NaNoWriMo 2005

Right...

It's done. No really. It's done. I am finished with it. 32 chapters. 71475 words. 126 pages. That's it.

I never thought that I would a) Get 50,000 words or b) Get the story finished by the end of November.

I aimed to post a chapter a day and I did... Almost. I lost a day when LJ moved servers and Dominicon interfered.

But ... wow!

I'm happy with it. Sure there are a few chapters that I could redo but ... in general, I'm happy with it. The characters were good, likeable for the most part, I think...

This is only the second thing that I wrote that is longer than 2000 words, and only the second thing that I am truly happy with... Wow!

New Fic Idea

Over the weekend, I was tribbled (like bunnied - but more prolific) for a new fic idea...

This one revolves around Arthurian Knights being awakened into the modern world... It's going to be fanfic (90% sure on this) and so can have characters from various series (modern day; futuristic; historical) and they will be worked in. So... What am I asking from you...

I want ideas. I'm going to give a summary of the main Knights and I'd like you to suggest someone for that role. I don't mind if you don't intend to read it or whether you'll fangirl the thing. It's just if you think of someone...
