Warpcon

Had a really good weekend. Decided that I'd do something completely out of the ordinary for me and not volunteer to GM. Usually I end up running around like a chicken with it's head cut off with 15 minutes to pee between the end of game and the reading of the next scenario.

Got roped into the larp on Friday night and really, really enjoyed it. Of course, I got the bad guy/gal character and had to shift the blame to other people. And none of them suspected me at all. *giggles* So obviously I was well suited to the roll of murderer. Slightly worrying.

Played a game of Vampire: Dark Ages on Saturday and again, really enjoyed it. There were a couple of things that I probably should have done during the game but meh! I had fun and the rest of the table had fun and the GM enjoyed it so all good.

And I finally won a game of poker (my very first) with saoili and a couple others. I was dead chuffed! The rest of the con was just talking and having fun.

Incidentally, I completely blew my budget on game books. Picked up BESM: Third Ed (Tristat), VtR Nomads, Ghouls and Carthians. Really liking the new system and the flavour text. Course... Now I have 27 of the new WoD books... Really need to run something using the system.
