I caved and got the Definitive Collectors Edition of Queer as Folk (Series One and Two) - The UK version. I've been watching both versions and one is just a remake of the other with prettier boys. Course, the UK version got pulled far sooner than the US version.
I was listening to the commentary and I'm sorry to say that Russell T Davies (producer, writer, pretty much everything) sounds so GAY! I don't tend to think about people's orientations that much but it does explain some of the extreme openness of the Torchwood characters and the Doctor.
I watched QaF when it was on TV but I'd forgotten a lot of it, like the copious amounts of Doctor Who episodes. *grin*
Yeah, yeah, I'm rambling. I know but brain is doing the warm fuzzies towards the series at the moment, even given the fact that my mum seems to have a sixth sense for when I've hit play. I swear, she knows when the episode's big gay sex scene is on and picks that time to wander in to see if I'm okay. She used to do the same when I was studying for exams - wait until I was taking my regular ten minute break and then give out to me for not studying.
Anywho... Copycat is on and for some reason I love it, so... rambling is stopping.
