Of Phones and Casts...
Jun. 28th, 2007 11:23 amSo my Aunt got a new Nokia over the weekend (before her fall) and well... It seems to be buggered already.
It won't unlock. Is it just me or does everyone, on buying a new phone, expect it to last more than a week before displaying it's first fault? Now, my opinion on new stuff breaking down is to take it back and stand politely in the middle of the floor and proclaim in a loud voice exactly how unimpressed you are until they give you a brand new replacement.
My Aunt, the contrary one with the broken arm, is of the opinion that one should put up with it but complain loudly about it's faults in places where it will do no good and in doing so piss off the people around her.
Oh and she's also pissed at my Mum for telling me that the phone isn't working. You know, the one person in the family who actually knows about phones. A quick hard reboot of the phone and it's working again. Simple yes? No. Apparently not! Gotta decide whether or not to go back to Cavan this weekend before going to parts foreign.
//we interrupt this regularly scheduled post with this quick freakout//
ARGH!!! FLYING THIS SUNDAY!!! TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY!!! NOT JUST ENGLAND!!! CACKING SELF WILL HAPPEN SHORTLY!!!
//and now we return to your scheduled post//
Okay, so I'm a very nervous flyer. But I'm supposed to be flying on possibly the largest things in the sky. An A380. I'm a bit dubious about that but I guess we'll see. Course, if I go to Cavan, washing and drying and packing will have to be done tonight. Which will give me a chance to do it at my own pace. Meh, only reason I'm considering it is so that I can watch XMen 3 and V for Vandetta on Sky on Saturday night. Don't have to decide now, I guess.
Also, have to figure out how my damned combination lock works.
