Writing has been rather tough recently. I keep feeling as if I'm bouncing my head off a brick wall. Nothing that's coming out seems to be good enough for me to not want to delete it. Add a modicum of writers block on top of that and you've pretty much got what I'm trying to deal with.
In good news, the last few chapters of my History Big Bang are in the beta stage and currently getting demolished so that I can rebuild them into an awesome ending. It sounds worse than it is. I have two awesome betas who are helping me to make it the best that it can be and I actually like the story. Posting date is April 1st, and my artist has just let me see the art. It's fantastic and I love it to pieces!!
Today's challenge is to finish my chapter of Hard Drives and Heartbeats (the sequel to Silver Bullets and Circuitry) and not devolve into writing the lyrics to Silverfyre's songs. :)
In news completely unrelated to writing, I've bought Saturday tickets to Sonisphere 2012 in Knebworth and will be seeing Queen as fronted by Adam Lambert. This is a huge deal for me because I'm fairly sure I'm going to be well out of my comfort zone at a festival that's predicting to attract 120,000 people. But oh well... Things like this only happen once. I'm not really a festival type person and well... it's only my desire to see Adam (and a little help from the buttkicking that Ara gave me) that's persuaded to click the purchase button.
Work has turned interesting with a side of frustrating and I'm quite wishing to slam some developers heads into walls. If you're building a product, possibly you should make it work before you start putting customers live on it, yes? *sigh* Corporate bureaucracy for the lose? But upside, I'm driving a hell of a lot less these days.
