Update

Dad's doing better or so he thinks. He's on a drip to replace what he lost from not eating due to the nausea he's been feeling all week. Mum was talking to him this morning and he was in a fairly good mood.

Mum's starting to panic about the little things, like whether or not I'll help her do the shopping tomorrow morning or whether she should rush and get something now so that I can eat when I eventually get home tonight. She also wants me to have my driving licence so that I can take over that aspect of the weekend seeing as she has to have wrist supports when she drives but it still hurts her. Dad's the one who's trying to calm her down but she's still pushing herself and not letting anything stand in her way, like sleep or the laws of physics. Last thing I want is for her to be in the bed opposite Dad! (Yes, I know that's unlikely seeing as they divide people up based on gender)

Still have to ask manager about getting time off today but doubt it will be a problem, he's a nice guy. May not be on the net over the weekend so if you don't see me, don't worry!

You really are having a rough time of it. But i think whats going on is treatable, it just needs time.

Yeah, it is which is good but he's still at risk of having mini strokes and that's the bit that I'm scared of. It runs in the family, my Aunt (his sister) had them and they get worse in severity until an actual stroke happens. She had it cured by having both her jugular vein/artery opened and scraped clean of offending clots and cholesterol buildups. He is in the best place for him at the moment, but Mum is freaking and trying to pretend that she isn't. She's a worrier like me.
