Drove up to Glasnevin yesterday morning and arrived an hour and a half early for a 7.30am check-in. But three hours later, I was all ready to leave the hospital with everything done. Everything went fine. Took about 15 minutes and now I'm deliriously happy but a little sore (getting more sore during the day until I take painkillers and get less sore again).
Dad's still in and is being kept in until he stabilizes a bit more. He's between 90 and 120 now, but they want him to get to a point where he isn't fluctuating wildly anymore before they let him out. He's in good form and happy enough in there. He has a doctor he likes, and one who likes him apparently so all is fairly good.
Probably will end up going home again tomorrow evening but the worry has died down which is good but he's still in Cavan General so I'll still keep going down.
In other news, the complaint to Sky has been answered. I kinda, sorta addressed it to the CEO of BSkyB who owns Sky and it kinda, sorta got directed towards the head of the customer service complaints department who was extremely sorry that their customer service reps gave me wrong information and as a result I got charged extra cause I had an exdirectory number which wouldn't show up on their systems. So... Free Sky for a couple of months and a refund of the money that got taken! Yay!
