It's odd...

In recent times, I find myself very picky about the music I listen to when I settle down to write. I swear I've started spending a lot of time picking out music with specific tempos depending on what exactly I'm writing. I now have approximate playlists for different themes. But I seem to have moved away from the hardcore metal / german goth sounds that I used to listen to and seem to wander towards the odd strains of heavily celtic folk and instrumental music.

Also, I went to the doctor yesterday cause my stomach has been attacked by Marsha II (the revenge of Martha - the stomach bug from hell) and after about 10 minutes of trying to convince the doctor that I wasn't - couldn't be - pregnant, he decided to put me on horribly expensive meds. Ick! Sometimes I debate whether it's better to go and get cured at the cost of lots or suffer on and keep the money.. Oh well!

*grin* Was wandering through Amazon yesterday comparing prices of various vampire books, when I came across Vampire: the Requiem for Dummies. *grins* So naturally, I decided to pick it up along with another couple of unrelated books.

Vampires are awesome...way! Sorry about the stomach trouble. If it was a virus...it passes...and the key is hydration, but if its bacterial then an antibiotic will help. I guess you ate something bad then? Well, I suppose there are also symptomatic medications to use.

Off the medical topic...

Yay for music! I recently got myself an iPOD so I've been downloading all sorts of music to it. I've not had a chance to sort them into playlists yet.

Jee...the Irish girl listening to Celtic music, who'd have thought?

Nah, I have the intestinal tract of a 50 year old woman and a kidney infection. *grin* I think most of the artists are actually american so it's American Oirish rather than Irish Irish music. But some good songs.
