So was anyone else thinking Ghosts of Mars when the people with the addiction to body mods stepped out?

Isn't it a little far fetched that the Doctor goes a couple of trillion years into the future and still knows how the technology works? And even if it isn't, isn't it a bit far fetched that Jack and Martha knew what plugged in where.

I like the explanation of Jack's immortality. However, the Rose bits are far too soppy.

The interplay between Jack and the Doctor work wonderfully. It's just nicely sentimentally. It is nice to see the continuing icon of the series again. I have to say that I didn't expect the Timelord storyline to play out but I did foresee the Master bit. Bit unoriginal, I gotta say. But understandable. It's the one that we knew was out there and the only true rival to the Doctor who hasn't turned up in the new series.

The Master is fantastic. Character wise and the dialog wise. I'll agree that it was time to bring him back. I'm not sure that I would have advocated doing it how they did it but it was a decent episode. Next weeks episode looks pretty good though. So we'll see.

I would have liked to see more about the FutureKind and the differences between them and the humans. I mean we can see that piercing and tattooing are still viable ways to spend money and that they are cannibalistic but seriously, where did they come from? Another species or a genetic mutation?

The Doctor/Jack conversation was touching and explains what they never did in Torchwood. Which makes me wonder if it's going to be referenced in the next season of Torchwood... We'll have to wait and see.

One thing I don't like about this series is the constant references back to Rose. He's had a multitude of other characters and she hasn't been the best looking, or best acting. Sure the fact that both seemed to feel the same way about her is nice and all but... Argh!
