So, how did you spend your afternoon? We spent ours in Cavan General's A&E with my aunt. Got a phonecall at around one from my aunts neighbours saying that she'd just falled down the stairs. She managed to topple and fall face and wrist first into an umbrella stand. Neighbours fought against her objections and called the ambulance. So she currently has a smashed wrist that will probably need surgery (which will have to be done in Drogheda because Cavan don't do bones any more), ten stitches on her forehead and a black eye.

And she's just back from having an angiogram and on her way to having three stints inserted in two weeks... Well, they won't be using that wrist again to insert the guiding tube.

Your aunt has the worst luck EVER. Hope she's okay (aside from the obvious) and that this at least persuades her to take it easy for a bit.
