Safe and on the Ground
Jul. 1st, 2007 10:58 pmSo, I'm in Germany. In Bonn to be precise. I have never seen a more complicated interface to getting a damned train ticket. We're fairly sure that we got the right one - confirmed when we didn't get kicked off the train by the conductor. But we had to guess what station to get off at to change trains.
Incidentally, I don't care... Trains should not hang from the tracks, they should gilde along them while firmly on the ground.
You'll all be glad to know that I didn't cry like a baby this time or break the seat. I did however, almost dig a chunk out of my hand and got laughed at by an old German lady. Course, she wasn't laughing when we went through the turbulance, so Hah!
Um... yeah ... That is all for now. I'm on the ground and safe and that's the important thing.
