Legend of the Seeker
Nov. 16th, 2008 12:12 pmSo, my various romps through the internets provided me with an interesting piece of news. Well, okay, I kinda knew it already, I just didn't know that it was actually out yet. Legend of the Seeker is based on Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. Well, it's supposed to be. They've got the characters, the countries, the basic premise and that's about it. I've just finished watching the season opener and well, the amount of times that I've shouted at the screen is higher for this one and a half hour show than it has been for any other show.
Okay, so I did recently re-read the books, so the story is fresh in my mind, but they've just run rough-shod over some of the core foundations of the series, and especially the first book.

I'd be curious to see what others have to say about this show...
Incidentally, I'm predicting that Bruce Campbell will show up in it at some point. It's produced by the same people that did Hercules and Xena, and Ted Raimi (Joxer the Mighty) has already shown his face in the show.
