So, along with the fact that I'm considering doing an adult education course (Open University degree or otherwise) and the fact that I'm currently having a few stresses at work*, I'm considering a vast range of things to do to take my mind off stuff.  Which has led me to a question that I would like you guys to answer if you can.

If I wasn't doing what I'm doing, what job would you consider me most suited for?  Or to put it another way, knowing me as well as you do, what profession do you think I would most enjoy or excel in?

* and in saying that I am the mistress of understatement.

I highly recommend doing adult education courses. They work well for me as an anti stress measure but require very very careful balancing acts.(Which i fully confess to not having right at times.. or ever. ;))

I've heard nothing but good things about OU but maybe take a look and see what classes 3rd levels in your area are offering. OU strikes me a bit solitary. Class partipcipation and interaction helps a lot for me personally.

This reply might be slightly coloured by the fact ive just walked in from my short course in UCD about Irish archeology which class was great..
Also pick something you love, not what you think might be good for you something down the line otherwise the anti strees/taking your mind off it wont be effective.

Just my 2cent. Also completely not answering your initial question i admit..

I'd see you doing event organisation or anything that involved marshalling people in a very organised fashion.

Or dominatrix.
